Lauri Pietarinen

Lauri has over 20 years of experience from diverse areas ranging from investment banking and corporate finance to asset management, real estate, private equity and various family office issues. 

Prior to joining Ajanta as a CEO, Lauri co-founded and worked at Prudentus Capital, high-quality advisory and capital arrangement specialist company. Before that, Lauri worked as Hartwall Capital’s Investment Director and oversaw an investment portfolio of ca. €800m, executed strategic transactions of various size with aggregate value in excess of €400m. Lauri has been a Partner and Analyst at E. Öhman J:or Securities Finland Ltd. Lauri has previously also worked as Quantitative Developer for Italian Monte Paschi Asset Management SGR.

Alexandra Zavadskaya

Alexandra has deep knowledge of financial administration, planning and management of companies. Her expertise includes financial analysis and valuations, preparations of annual financial statements, investor communications, assisting in capital funding, reporting, shareholders and Board of Directors meetings, HR management, business and strategic guidance.

Prior to joining Ajanta Oy, Alexandra gained experience during her work at Prudentus Capital Oy – a corporate financial advisory and consulting firm, where she performed market and industry analysis, competition- , strategy-  and financial analysis. 

Alexandra holds a Master of Science (Economics and Business Administration), Finance and Accounting degree from Hanken School of Economics.

Mikko Salmivuori

Mikko has over 20 years of experience in investment banking, real estate investments and various business development projects.

As a board member of Ajanta, Mikko has been involved in several large investment projects in Finland and internationally. Before Ajanta, Mikko worked at E. Öhman J:or Securities Finland Ltd as a trader.

Janne Tallgren

Janne has over 35 years of experience in development, coordination and supervision of demanding real estate projects. 

Currently, in addition to supervising the development of several real estate projects in Finland and abroad.

Janne Rauramo

Janne is in charge of various Ajanta investments including Betolar Green Building Technologies Oy, Evata Partners Oy as well as Real Estate development of Finia Yapi Emlak Gelistirme ve Ticarert AS and Mizzi Kösku Turizm Isletmeleri AS in Istanbul, Turkey.

Janne has wide experience in entrepreneurship and consulting. Janne has previously been the General Manager for Torpan Pojat basketball club and worked as a consultant through his own company. During his studies in University of Helsinki he also worked as a trainee at Castrén & Snellman Attorneys.

Ari Salmivuori

An enterpreneur, founder and the chairman of Ajanta family office and Ajanta Innovations, which currently invests its own and external capital primarily into cleantech companies with global potential and impact.

Established in 1989 by Mr. Ari Salmivuori, Ajanta is one of the largest family-offices in Finland. Ajanta has a history of highly successful investments into private growth companies with proven technological edge to disrupt a large market and public companies in need of an active ownership. In the late 90s Mr. Salmivuori invested very successfully in various internet driven companies, including internet provider Saunalahti (which later merged with Elisa). Other notable investments include sporting goods company Amer Sports, heavy vehicle aftermarket business Relais, Scandinavian Biogas, green cement provider Betolar, foundry sand-waste reclaimer Resand, industrial dust controller Filtrabit, smart grid monitoring system provider Safegrid, sustainable rainbow trout producer Finnforel and electrifier of heavy industrial processes Coolbrook (featured in FT in Nov 2022) .

Mr. Salmivuori has an extensive European network of senior professionals who share his passion for market changing clean technologies, want to co-invest, and have proven ability and time to support entrepreneurs and management teams to accelerate value growth.
